Norway’s Vreid (Norwegian for “Wrath”) have unveiled the second new track off their forthcoming album, Lifehunger. The track titled “Black Rites in the Black Nights” is streaming in form of a video, featuring a “fist-raising tale of bloody and unbidden goings on illustrated with spectacular tracking shots across their home town’s fjords and forests, bloody illustrations, clips of films with witches coming to an unpleasant end, incinerated monks and more.” The video is available now HERE.
Regarding the track, the band comments, “A new chapter opens, and its a dark one. The eternal rites can never be controled, and khaos will forever conquer. So join the madness and let the fire of creativity burn.”
Lifehunger will be released worldwide by Season of Mist in September 28.
Norwegian metal brigade Vreid was formed in 2004 after the demise of ”Sognametal” legends Windir. Vreid have released 7 albums & 1 DVD. Their last album ”Sólverv” is their biggest success and it received fantastic critics. Vreid is a heavy touring band. They have done 500 shows in 25 different countries.
