MARILYN MANSON – Announces Retirement From Music

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has reportedly announced his retirement from music effective immediately.

“As we get older, there are phases of life that we enter into, and being a singer-musician-songwriter just isn’t fun anymore,” he might have said, says a source who remained anonymous. Other reports hinted that he may branch out into other creative fields he is better at (and more interested in), though they didn’t provide any details.

Manson appeared to have an MK Ultra breakdown on the stage last month and that immediately got fans speculating about his mental health and frame of mind moving forward.

For a little while on Sunday, #ThankYouMarilyn was a trending hashtag on Twitter. As many fans reminisce and look back on all the unforgettable memories, some may wonder what about now made him make the decision.

The shock rock icon flirted with the idea of letting Johnny Depp join his band, but now it looks like he just wants him to be his soulmate.

“I love that man with all of my heart. I want to have Johnny’s babies. Just the thought of him makes me want to cry.”

No word on what Manson plans to do in retirement, although our guess is that he will will finally launch the new app he wanted to start called ‘Kinder’, a dating site for kids, so that will probably get checked off his bucket list first.
