LUX PERPETUA – Signs With Underground Symphony

Underground Symphony is proud to announce a deal with LUX PERPETUA for the release of the debut full length album “The Curse Of The Iron King.” The album will be available on February 28th.

The Polish power metal act was founded in 2009 and released the debut EP “Forever We Stand” in 2014. “The Curse Of The Iron King” was mastered by Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann (Orden Ogan, Almanac, Rhapsody Of Fire) at Greenman Studios and it’s will appeal to fans of Blind Guardian, Gammaray and Manowar.

The album’s artwork (seen above) was created by Magda Tararuj.

It all began in 2004 in Podkowa Leśna, when Kaplic created few compositions – very ambitious and original, yet still placed in power metal genre. Soon he invited few of his friends – Draken, Martinez and Tommy to join his band. That’s how Sentinel was born. Unfortunately, the band was only composing and first rehersal happened in 2007.

The band was looking for a long time for a singer with character – they failed to do it, so rehersals have been suspended. But guys promised themselves that they won’t give up and as soon as the opportunity comes they will get back to playing. A big turn happened in 2009 – in November Kaplic met Kosa and they formed a new band, to which they invited all former members of Sentinel. They needed only a good singer.

After few rehersals Kosa invited Dzidek from Morhana to come and sing along. The band was named Lux Perpetua after a long discussion, guys created the logo and website, and the whole band was working on compositions day by day. On May 19th 2010, the group debuted in front of bigger audience in warsaw Harenda club, presenting 6 compositions. After few gigs, Dzidek left the band and Lux Perpetua was again looking for a singer.
