American metal band TRAUMA has been confirmed to join the 2017 edition of the floating 70,000 Tons of Metal festival taking place on February 2nd – 6th. Drummer Kris Gustofson comments:
“Trauma is delighted and honored to be playing on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise with some of the best bands in metal. This is going to be a blast and we look forward to putting the pedal to the metal.”
Trauma is an American heavy metal band. It was known as being the band of bass virtuoso Cliff Burton, before he left them to join Metallica. Their music is comparable to that of Iron Maiden with faster tempos, which is shown in the tracks “The Day All Hell Broke Loose” and “Lay Low” from their debut album. Kris Gustofson went on to play in numerous other bands, most notably St. Elmo’s Fire.Steve Robello who was in Dublin Death Patrol is TRAUMA’s new Bass player. in 2013 Trauma signed a worldwide record deal with Pure Steel Records in Germany. New album title ” The Rapture and Wrath” was released worldwide in 2014
