PANZERBASTARD released their MotörHeathen seven-inch this past July via PATAC Records. Boasting four new vile odes of scorn, contempt, and disenchantment, the record follows a barrage of diseased EP and split releases since their 2006 formation and finds the ravenous collective perfecting their riotous brand of motör-charged filth ‘n’ roll.
In a 9/10 review Metal Injection gushes, “This is potentially our generation’s Motörhead so you had better drop the pretentious veneer, enjoy the riffs, and hop on the motherfucking hype train.” Invisible Oranges concurs, “With four pummeling new tracks, the influence of all things umlaut can be heard throughout as each song embraces a classic hardcore brutality with a heavy dose of brazen Lemmy attitude.” Mass Movement writes, “…on MotörHeathen, they unleash their Motörhead-forged, Cro Mags-fueled, explosive artillery barrage in brutal, pissed off, rapid fire succession. It ain’t for the faint hearted, but if, like me, you dig high velocity, angry-as-all-hell rock’n’roll, then you’re gonna love PANZERBASTARD…” Adds Metal Reviews, “A few quick blows to the head followed by a final body punch, MotörHeathen can provide a knock out within its quick eleven-minutes worth of playing time.”
