Buffalo, NY death metal act MALEVOLENT CREATION has reportedly cancelled their forthcoming U.S. tour, which was scheduled to kick off in early October. No official word on the matter has been issued, though at least four of the tour’s shows has been listed as cancelled by promoters.
Rumors that Malevolent Creation has disbanded are also now circulating, with one promoter apparently blaming the cancellation on the band’s break-up.
Meanwhile, bass player Jason Blachowicz (aka Jay Black) has seemingly quit the band. In a statement attributed to Blachowicz, he says, “due to circumstances beyond my control, I am unable to perform or tour with Malevolent Creation anymore, therefore I am leaving and wish the band much luck in their future endeavors.”
