Den Headz, sad news to report. Former MEGADETH drummer Nick Menza has passed away. He died last night while performing on the stage with Ohm at the Baked Potato in Los Angeles. He reportedly collapsed on stage and reportedly suffered heart failure. Nick was 51 years old.
The legendary drummer was featured on four of Megadeth’s albums, most notably 1990’s Rust In Peace along with 1992’s Countdown To Extinction, 1994’s Youthanasia and 1997’s Cryptic Writings.
TMD sends out our condolences to Nick’s family and friends. He was one of the all time greats and will be sorely missed. RIP!
