METALLICA have shared live footage of their performance of “Ride The Lightning” from 1985 at ‘Day On The Green‘. That event occurred on August 31st, 1985 at the Oakland Stadium in Oakland, CA. The footage viewed HERE will be included on the deluxe edition of “Ride The Lightning”, out tomorrow, April 15th. A deluxe edition of “Kill ‘Em All” will also be released tomorrow as well.
This year’s ‘Record Store Day‘ will take place this Saturday, April 16th.
Metallica will celebrate it with the release of their live album, “Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, Metallica!” All proceeds from it will be donated to the victims of the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, France via Fondation de France’s Give For France charity. They will also perform an in-store set at Rasputin Music in Berkeley, CA on Saturday as well.
