Long Island, NY death metal band INTERNAL BLEEDING has announced the addition of vocalist Joe Marchese and bass player Shaun Kennedy to its lineup. Here’s the official word:
“Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? We have a new vocalist and his name is Joe Marchese.
“Those who saw the band’s performance on Long Island in January know that he is a force to be reckoned with behind the mic. His vocals are incredibly deep, distinct and powerful. Joe brings youth, energy and excitement to an already intense IB live show.
“We also have a new bass player. Veteran four-string ace Shaun Kennedy has joined the IB fold as the band’s full-time bassist. Shaun has history with Internal Bleeding, and played with the band in the early 2000s as a fill in/backup bassist. We’re all really happy to have him with us in a permanent capacity.
“Bassist Jason Liff had to step down from the band due to obligations with his career. We wish him nothing but the best, and he will always be a proud part of the IB legacy. Just don’t count him out of playing some guest appearances, because it may well happen!
“After a mutual decision between members of the band, Keith DeVito has stepped down to focus on his career an family life. We wish him well.
“This could be, quite possibly the most devastating lineup Internal Bleeding has had since the early 1990s. Everything fits together perfectly — the chemistry is there, and the songwriting talent is now in the stratosphere.
“Be prepared for some of the heaviest material you’ve ever heard from Internal Bleeding!”
