In only 4 months 70000TONS OF METAL 2016, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise will sail from Florida to Jamaica on board the Independence of the Seas, leaving from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale near Miami, FL on Thursday, February 4th 2016 and returning on Monday, February 8th.
10 more artists have just been confirmed for 70000TONS OF METAL 2016: BLOODBATH, JAG PANZER, KATATONIA, KRISIUN, PARADISE LOST, SQUEALER, STRATOVARIUS, SUBWAY TO SALLY, VADER and VALLENFYRE. Each band will perform two concerts on board, once on the way to Jamaica, and once on the way back.

The 70000TONS OF METAL crew visited festivals around the world in Summer 2015, including ROCK AL PARQUE in Bogota, Colombia and HEAVY MONTREAL in Montreal, Canada.
Six lucky 70000TONS OF METAL Cruisers were awarded VIP upgrades to the Heavy Montreal festival by participating in a contest on the official 70000TONS OF METAL Facebook and Instagram channels!
The contest winners – a mix of SURVIVORS and First Time Cruisers – gained exclusive access to the 70000TONS OF METAL VIP Lounge, where they soaked in a backstage hot tub while being served drinks by the 70000TONS OF METAL Pool Girls, the Skipper, and even some of their favorite bands!
