GEORGE KOLLIAS is a world class drummer of the legendary death metal band NILE. The venerable Kollias teaches at LAB Music Education and the Modern Music School in Athens, Greece and is also known from his solo clinic tours which have taken him across the globe. His first instructional drum DVD, ‘Intense Metal Drumming’, has soared past one million views online and made him one of the most prominent drumming names in the landscape of heavy music.
During touring breaks from NILE in early 2014, Kollias recorded ‘Invictus’. The fifteen track album features Kollias’ work across all instruments, as well as guest spots from some of the best musicians in heavy metal.
