Polish grindcore merchants ANTIGAMA will enter Pawel “Janos” Grabowski’s JNS Studio in Warsaw this month to begin recording the first new material since 2013’s “Meteor”.
The new record entitled “The Insolent” will make another step outside the genre to explore new sound territories. As on “Meteor,” the mastering will be done by Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer / Agoraphobic Nosebleed at his Visceral Sound studio in Bethesda, MD.
Vocalist Lukasz Myszkowski comments: “The most exciting is what lies before us so I’m not trying to close any vision. I see it as a form still plastic and I see it as the most interesting. The matter is very thorny and dry and I think this is a good platform to what is going to change in the reception of our music. Every aspect will be regarded separately and it will be a construction of the new sound, not any return.”
Upcoming new album “The Insolent” will be released late Spring 2015 on SelfMadeGod Records, with full details forthcoming.
