Boasting members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index and Agoraphobic Nosebleed, FULGORA is a nihilistic grindcore/death collective devising violent hymns of audio destruction. Melding death, grind and hardcore-laden, vulturine vocal incursions, the band’s sadistic output is the sound of a world gone rotten with apathy, disease and decay.
A name representing the female personification of lightning in Greek mythology, FULGORA — guitarist/vocalist B. L. LaMew, bassist John Jarvis, drummer Adam Jarvis and live guitarist Sparky Voyles (ex Dying Fetus) — will release their full-length debut via Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Records this Spring. Titled Stratagem, the seven-track bruiser is a sinister collection of limited vinyl singles and samples including “Meridian,” captured by producer Will Putney at Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, New York, Converse’s completely free, state-of-the-art recording studio.
Featuring a torrent of alarming religious imagery compiled by LaMew, witness the audio/visual horrors of “Meridian,” at THIS LOCATION.
Stratagem will be released via Housecore Records on the new date of March 24th, 2015. Further info including live dates and preorder details to be announced soon.
