Den Headz, video has been uploaded of ALICE COOPER’s “Christmas Pudding” event benefiting his and wife Sheryl Cooper’s “Solid Rock Foundation”, a Phoenix, AZ-based organization centered on helping young people get involved in music, the arts, community service, etc. The event took place Saturday, December 13th at The Commercia Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. Alice and band played a one-hour headlining set with full production. Other acts on the bill were NIGHT RANGER, P.O.D., a band dubbed “Super Group” consisting of Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), Johnny Lang, Nils Lofgren (Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band) and Cooper sticksman Glen Sobel. Christian hard rockers THOUSAND FOOT CRUTCH performed as well as did CO-OP, fronted by Alice Cooper’s son Dash Cooper.
To conclude the event Alice and band invited all performers on stage for the grand finale, a cover of THE BEATLES’ “Revolution”, dedicated in part to recently deceased guitar tech Chris Leahy who had worked for Alice, TOOL, and many others. Video of the finale can be seen below as well as footage of the Super Group performing RAINBOW’s “Stone Cold” and also NIGHT RANGER performing “Sister Christian” with Glen Sobel on drums giving drummer/vocalist Kelly Keagy a chance to step out front and sing lead.
