SUFFOKATE has dropped off their co-headline tour with Abiotic in the wake of the departures of both guitarist Jason Graff and bassist Ivan Munguia. The band has issued the following statement:
“We unfortunately have to announce that we are officially dropping off the remaining dates of the Murder Without Motive tour.
“Our guitarist Jason Graff and bass player Ivan Munguia informed us 2 days ago that they have decided to leave the band and that they would not finish the remaining tour dates. We apologize all our fans, the promoters, booking agents, as well as the bands on the tour package (Abiotic, As They Sleep).
“The remaining band members did want to finish the tour, and made our best attempt at making that happen but were unable to track down a van, trailer, guitarist, and bass player with such short notice.
“This does not mean the band will be breaking up, our vocalist John, lead guitarist Miguel, and drummer Lars are all here to stay. On that note if you are a bass or guitar player, preferably with tour experience, and are interested in auditioning please message us at this page. Thanks.”
