THE METAL DEN’s Battle Of Unsigned Thrash Bands Contest: Winner Announced!

Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process worked:

1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Musicianship
3. Songwriting

2nd round (Finals) – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Band Image
3. Public Response (page views)

The overall top scoring band of both combined Semi and Finals round is crowned winner of the online contest and receives a 3 month publicity deal with THE METAL DEN (Value $2,500). Prize for 2nd and 3rd place bands are 1 month ‘unlimited’ press release service (value $200) and 4th and 5th place get 2 press release posts (value $50, expires by end of 2014)!!!
