BELPHEGOR have posted footage of their last rehearsals at the end of May, a few days before Serpenth and Marthyn flew to Mana Studios, St. Petersburg, Florida to track the devastating bass guitars and blazing machine gun drums with producer Erik Rutan. This rehearsal footage offers a first impression of the brutality yet to be unleashed. Watch HERE.
Founder, frontman and guitarist Helmuth states: “Here are a few samples of the new sound collages. We replaced the working titles, added the final ones on this re-worked trailer, which also shows a new track. Hell awaits!!”
The band recently revealed the tracklising for their forthcoming album, Conjuring The Dead. The tenth album from one of the metal world’s most bizarre and authentic bands is set to be released on August 8th (Europe) and August 11th (UK/France) via Nuclear Blast. The artwork was created by Greek artist, Seth Siro Anton who also painted the cover of Pestapokalypse IV in 2006.
Helmuth comments: “The spectacular cover, the offensive lyrical content, the Death Musick. Belphegor´s nine new sound collages are a new dimension of intensity and dynamics.”
Seth adds: ”Once you can customize the basic principles of Renaissance painting and deriving energy/data from chaotic reservoir of unconscious… you get Belphegor’s Conjuring The Dead cover art.”

Conjuring The Dead was recorded at Mana Studios in Florida under the direction of Eric Rutan. Three and a half years have past since the highly praised album Blood Magick Necromance was released. Belphegor are back to conquer – possessed, on fire and stronger than ever.
