All things are not well between Dave Mustaine and Mr. Newsted. MEGADETH have reportedly had Newsted band (featuring ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted) removed from the bill for the band’s forthcoming “Sidewave” shows in Australia. Whitechapel will now step in to fill the vacancy. Here’s the official word from festival organizers:
“At the request of Megadeth, Newsted will not be playing the [February 25 and February 27] Sidewave shows and instead will be replaced by Whitechapel.”
