It’s time TMD announces the 5 bands that received the highest point totals among the online judges. Thanks again to all the participants in the first ‘Battle of Unsigned Death Metal’ online contest!
Judging for the final round was based on live performance video.
2nd round – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:
1. Production Quality
2. Band Image
3. Public Response (page views/comments)
The overall top scoring band of both combined Semi and Final rounds is crowned winner of the online contest and receives a 3 month publicity deal with THE METAL DEN (Value $2,250). 2nd place wins 1 month of unlimited press releases and 1 interview published at TMD’s acclaimed site. 3rd place wins 2 weeks of unlimited press releases. 4th & 5th place each wins 1 press release announcement.
