THE METAL DEN’s ‘Battle Of Unsigned Death’ Online Contest: Top 20 Announced!

Judging for the semi-final round will be based on the most current studio recording and the finals are based on video of live performance loaded to YouTube. Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process works:

1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Musicianship
3. Songwriting

2nd round (Finals) – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Band Image
3. Public Response (page views/public comments)

The semi final round happens on December 27th, 2013, wherein the top 10 bands with the highest point totals are announced and then move on to the final round on December 31st, 2013.

The winner of the final round will receive a three month publicity deal with THE METAL DEN PROMOTIONS (Value $2,250). Prizes to be announced for the other top 5 finalists once the champion is crowned!!!
