SPV/Steamhammer will release the new BATTLEAXE album, Heavy Metal Sanctuary, next February. The band has released a video for the title track and can be seen HERE.
Heavy Metal Sanctuary was recorded at Trinity Heights/Pillarbox/Sound Inc Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne England and was mixed and mastered by Fred Purser (ex-TYGERS OF PAN TANG).
The current line-up consists of the original members Dave King (vocals) and Brian Smith (bass) as well as Mick Percy (guitar) and Paul AT Kinson (drums).
In other news, Battleaxe’s Burn This Town album was rereleased on November 22nd in Germany, November 25th in Europe, and will be rereleased on January 21st in North America.
