Judging for the Semi-Final round was based on the most current studio recording and the finals are based on video of live performance. Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process works:

2nd round (Finals) – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:

The overall top scoring band of both combined Semi and Finals round will be crowned winner of the online contest and receive a 3 month publicity deal with THE METAL DEN (Value $2,250). Prizes to be announced for the other top finalists once the champion is crowned on Oct 31!!!
