It’s time TMD announces the 5 bands that received the highest overall point totals among the online judges in the first ‘Battle of Unsigned Thrash’ online contest at The Metal Den!

Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process worked:

1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Musicianship
3. Songwriting

2nd round (Finals) – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:

1. Production Quality
2. Band Image
3. Public Response (page views)

The overall top scoring band of both combined Semi and Finals round is crowned winner of the online contest and receives a label representation deal with THE METAL DEN RECORDS (Value $3,000). Prizes for 2,3,4 & 5 place bands are 1 month free publicist service (value $2,000) for 2,3 and 4,5 get 1 month free basic press release service (value $200)!!!
