German symphonic death metallers DEADLOCK have announced their sixth full length LP entitled “The Arsonist” to be released on July 26, 2013 via Napalm Records. The artwork can be viewed above.
With their mix of Melodic Death Metal and elements from the world of pop the band has reached a new level of maturity and depth of details on “The Arsonist.” The band did not shy away from orchestral sounds, choir elements or synth fragments, which will make “The Arsonist” a timeless piece of music.
Besides Sebastian Reichl, Benny Richter (e.g. Caliban/Moonspell) took his place behind the mixing console. The pounding fundament of the drums was laid down at the Chemical Burn Studios with Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn) at the helm. Eike Fresse (e.g. Callejon/OOMPH!/Gamma Ray) mixed the new songs at the Hammer Studios in Hamburg. Finishing and mastering touches were provided by Olman Viper (Caliban/Emil Bulls/ZSK) at the Hertzwerk Studios. The artwork was created by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquility)
