As rumors of a possible PANTERA reunion with Zakk Wylde persist, TMD shares classic concert audio featuring the legendary American groove metal act performing the song “I’ll Cast A Shadow”. No doubt PANTERA had a reputation for bringing their A-game live better than any band in the history of heavy metal and this bootleg concert performance that TMD has obtained backs it all up.

This gem comes from a show with SLAYER during support for the band’s final studio album Reinventing The Steel on July 21, 2001 at Cox Arena in San Diego, California. The intensity is palpable as vocalist Philip H. Anselmo even goes as far as to stop the song at the start due to the crowd not reacting excited enough. Late great guitarist Dimebag Darrell is simply on fire, jamming with his inventive genius, undoubtedly a player decades ahead of his time.

The listener will experience the raw power of an epic metal band that would soon meet its demise.
