Long Island hardcore pioneers VISION OF DISORDER recently finished recording their new full-length, and worldwide debut for Candlelight Records, entitled The Cursed Remain Cursed.
With eleven brand new energetic anthems, culminating influence from all eras of VOD’s infamous discography — their first new album to be recorded since their 2001-released From Bliss To Devastation — The Cursed Remain Cursed has been under construction for nearly four years. The anticipated new tunes were recorded by Will Putney (Shadows Fall, Suicide Silence, Four Year Strong) and mixed by Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Social Distortion, Ignite, Pennywise). The Cursed Remain Cursed will be released early this fall, and as per the band, was “written for the fans.”
Today hardcore webzine/community Lambgoat is hosting an exclusive worldwide premiere of “Loveless,” the opening track to The Cursed Remain Cursed, helping to inform diehard fanbase what to anticipate on the new VISION OF DISORDER album, RIGHT HERE.
VISION OF DISORDER will take part in the upcoming CBGB’s Festival this Summer, performing July 6th at Webster Hall in Manhattan, where the outfit will join hardcore legends Absolution, the Cro-Mags, Sick Of It All and more on stage in homage to the beloved, now-extinct NYC venue.
Confirmed VISION OF DISORDER Live Dates:
7/06/2012 Webster Hall – New York, NY @ CBGB’s Fest with Sick Of It All, Cro-Mags, Absolution
10/19/2012 Club Revolution – Long Island, NY
New VOD tour dates will be announced in the coming days, including both stateside and European performance, and details for The Cursed Remain Cursed including the cover artwork and official worldwide release dates will be posted in the coming weeks.
