MusiCares and Guitar World teamed up for the first ever rock and roll roast and the first honoree was none other than BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’s Zakk Wylde.
Roasting the former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist was Sharon Osbourne, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Chris Jericho, Jim Florentine, Brian Posehn, wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jim Norton. The event took place on the opening night of the NAMM show in Anaheim, January 2012.
