ROCKET Signs PUTREFACTION To TMD\’s Lethal Promo Roster

Metal News Source: TMD NewsPutrefaction is a three piece metal band from Potomac MD. The band was formed in the summer of 2006 by Ryan Stern (drums), Dan Cogut (guitars), and Chris Keller (vocals, bass). With influences such as Pantera, Dying Fetus, Decapitated, Metallica, Carcass, Meshuggah, and Slayer, they started writing and soon after recorded their EP “Hoping for Comatose” at Fatal Faction Studios in Bethesda, MD. The cd was then mastered by Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer, and was released in November of 2006. Putrefaction has since been playing shows to promote the EP, including opening for national acts such as Napalm Death, Deicide, Necrophagist and many more.
