KORN – Announce UK And Ireland Dates

TMD

Bakersfield NU metal icons, KOЯN, have announced a string of UK shows for March 2012. The band’s genre-pushing new album, ‘The Path of Totality’ was released earlier this month and sees the band collaborating with a laundry list of different dubstep artists and producers, to create a whole new sound for the band. The video for current single, ‘Narcissistic Cannibal’ (which is currently on the BBC Radio 1 playlist), can be viewed HERE.

In a career spanning over 20 years, KOЯN have sold over 30 million albums globally, won two Grammy Awards and sold-out countless tours around the world. This new direction is a gutsy move given their extraordinarily successful career so far, but shaking things up isn’t something the band shy away from. Frontman Jonathan Davis affirms, “I want to trail-blaze. I want to change things. I want to do things we’re not supposed to do. I want to create art that’s different and not conform to what’s going on. We didn’t make a dubstep album. We made a Korn album.”
