FREYA has entered Moresound Studios with Jason “Jocko” Randall (The Red Death, If Hope Dies, Engineer) behind the helm on December 14th to start the recording process for their forthcoming album titled ‘Paragon of The Crucible.’
Following up from their 2010 ‘All Hail The End,’ this new effort will be a continuation with the lyrics being about how after the cataclysm, people will create new mythologies to explain the post apocalyptic landscape, dealing a lot with mans ability to live in harmony with the Earth and each other. Album art will be handled by guitarist Brendon Flynn. ‘Paragon of The Crucible’ will see a to be announced release in 2012. With a few member changes, a tentative new label home, and new management, Freya is back to bring you intense progressive hardcore like you have never heard before!
