DREAM THEATER – Mike Portnoy Sues Band

Den Headz, just when you thought the drama in DREAM THEATER camp was over, it only gets uglier. This time ousted drummer Mike Portnoy (also DT’s founder) has been found to have sent a legal summons (delivered back in April) to his old band mates.

It has made its way online HERE. The suit, which is directed at John Petrucci, John Myung, Jordan Rudess and James LaBrie personally — as well as the operating Dream Theater-related companies Ytse Jams, Inc., and Infinity Touring, Inc. — charges that the above defendants have essentially wrongfully kept him from being in the band. Crazy!
