Sad news to report first thing on Monday. Former BULLETBOYS drummer Johnny “G” Giosa was tragically killed this weekend after he left BriXton Southbay bar in Redondo Beach, California. After a fun night of hanging with friends on Sunday, the veteran rocker got into a deadly car accident while driving home.
Giosa is reported to have veered his black 1998 Volkswagen Beetle off the northbound San Diego (405) freeway near Howard Hughes Parkway for unknown reasons and struck a concrete overpass pillar at 4:04 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol.
Giosa died at the scene, and there was no one else in the car, according to the CHP. He was 42.
