SPADES AND BLADES – Joins TMD’s Lethal Promo Roster!

TMD Promotions welcomes Corona, California metal outfit SPADES AND BLADES to its lethal roster of top underground metal acts.

Spades & Blades was founded by members of L.A. Punk band “The Havoc”. Jason Todd, Josiah Wiswell, and Justin Bullock spent ’01-’05 making records and touring as “The Havoc“, but grew restless of the punk scene. In ’06, they decided to pursue other influences, regroup, and rename. The next two years saw them experiment with their line-up and their favorite elements of Metal and Rock. Eventually the music and the line-up (completed by Ben Murray and Dan Matsuura) locked into place. Progressive song structures and metalcore overtones (like those of Killswitch Engage and As I lay dying), were blended with classic metal/hard rock influences (Pantera, Metallica, Motorhead). However, being true to their roots they injected punk rock fury into their songs, giving the band an aggressive metalcore sound.
