RONNIE JAMES DIO – New 2-Disc Compilation Coming In June

Den Headz, details have emerged on a new RONNIE JAMES DIO compilation, titled Mightier Than The Sword: The Ronnie James Dio Story, slated to be released in the United Kingdom June 6th via Sanctuary. The two-disc set will feature tracks from ELF, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, DIO, HEAVEN & HELL and solo material. The small yet powerful vocalist lost his battle with stomach cancer on May 16, 2010.

Wendy Dio wanted to let the fans know that Ronnie’s band mates and close friends gathered at his resting place on Monday, May 16th, 2011:

“We had a beautiful prayer service followed by everyone sharing their special memories of Ronnie.”

Now is the time to celebrate the incredible musical journey that was… and still is… DIO!
