Ozzy Osbourne and his family may face losing their home after racking up US tax debts of more than £1 million, it has been reported.
The former Black Sabbath singer and wife Sharon are being pursued by US tax authorities over two years of unpaid tax debts, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Although the couple are thought to be worth around £100 million and own a string of properties around the world, they have apparently been badly hit by the recession.
The red top printed what it claims to be papers lodged by the US Internal Revenue Service in the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office, which places a charge against the property and assets of the John and Sharon Osbourne.
Although there has been no official comment from the couple over the matter, Sharon referenced their apparent financial problems in a post on her official Twitter page on April 9.
“You can’t rely on anyone but yourself. You have to be on top of your own business affairs. My fault … lesson learned”, she wrote.
