Den Headz, DIMMU BORGIR have issued the first installment of their North American tour Diary:
“We’re now well over a week into our North American tour and we’re once again proud to say we’re enjoying every minute of it – feels great to finally be back! Not only have the shows so far gone over really well but we’re also graced with good attendance and awesome response from the fans!
We started off with a hectic pre-production day and a typical 1st show the following day in Worcester, MA at the haunted Palladium – naturally followed by a few technical difficulties as we could feel the presence. Nothing major, luckily, as the show itself was great and most likely our best played one on American soil yet. The background for this statement is the very fact that the live line-up we have at the moment is by far the best sounding and performing one we have ever had.
We then moved on down through the east coast and New York was again a great experience both on and off stage. Atlanta showed us the southern hospitality and we also ended up sharing some tasty moonshine brought on board from Virginia. Sadly there are no Florida shows on this run and for that we can only say we’re sorry and hope to be able include that next time around.
There are unfortunately no such thing as a perfectly routed tour and availability, although our agents go to extreme lengths sometimes to make this happen. So we’re in Pittsburgh tonight, rested after spending a day off in the middle of nowhere and we look forward to seeing some familiar and new faces, people should always remember to get to the shows early as you don’t want to miss this package!”
