TMD has obtained an extremely rare studio version of the track “Toast of The Town” from the very first MÖTLEY CRÜE demo session produced in early 1981, which subsequently became the act’s debut single “Stick to Your Guns/Toast of the Town,” that was put out on their own label, Leathür Records. The young and fearless metal act had scored a pressing & distribution deal with Greenworld Distribution in Torrance, CA.
The track was left off CRÜE’s legendary debut album Too Fast For Love which was released in December of 1981 but then was included in the re-released version of TFFL in 2003 when Elektra Records ordered TFFL complete re-mixes to include “Stick to Your Guns” and “Toast of the Town”.TFFL reached Gold certification 09/27/1984.
To date, the legendary rock group has sold over 80 million albums worldwide.
