TMD unearths one of the earliest known live ‘audience recordings’ of legendary rock act KISS performing “Deuce” at Bayou Theatre in Georgetown, Washington DC on March 25, 1974. This was the first official KISS tour, after the band had initially broke through the club scene and began to tour in support of their self-titled debut album, KISS, which was released on February 18, 1974 through Casablanca Records. This concert was only the fourth date of the tour and they played two shows on this historic night as you’ll hear the emcee say when introducing them.
The listener will experience the same rush that everyone in the audience must have felt when seeing one of rock’s all-time greatest bands for the very first time.
