American metal super group HELLYEAH has inked a deal with Riot! Entertainment for the Australian/New Zealand release of the band’s sophomore album, “Stampede”. The CD is slated to hit Australian stores on June 29 (via Warner Music Australia distribution) and is scheduled for release in North America on July 13.
Riot! owner/CEO John Howarth adds: “It’s a total honor for Riot! that HELLYEAH have chosen to work with us. This is one project we pursued extremely hard. The album is an absolute killer and it is going to blow people away! We all can’t wait to get working on it and hope to have the band Down Under shortly.”
HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott comments: “We are so excited to be teamed up with Riot! in Australia! It’s a great feeling to have a label as fired up as we are about stampede comin’ Down Under, and as always, we can’t wait.”
