Glendale, Arizona (USA) heavy metal powerhouse JOB FOR A COWBOY (JFAC) has unleashed its brand new music video – for the track “Ruination” – via its label’s new multimedia web hub Metal Blade TV. The engaging clip presents a visual interpretation of JFAC vocalist Jonny Davy’s end-time lyrics via vintage atomic bomb testing and Cold War propaganda films. Check out the action now at this location.

JOB FOR A COWBOY is currently in the midst of a spring North American tour. The electrifying group’s 27 city headlining run sees the band perform live in Allentown, PA this evening and is slated to run through late May. Support on the JFAC tour is provided by Tennessee’s Whitechapel and California’s Cattle Decapitation with Salt Lake City’s Gaza (April 21 – May 5) and Boston’s Revocation (May 15 – 27) as openers. JFAC continues to tour in support of its celebrated sophomore album, Ruination. The tour’s official admat is available for viewing here.

In additional JOB FOR A COWBOY news, the band has announced its summer, 2010 European touring schedule. JFAC will grace the main stages of such revered festivals as the UK’s “Download”, Italy’s “Gods of Metal”, Belgium’s “Grasspop”, Germany’s “With Full Force” and “Wacken Open Air” and more. JOB FOR A COWBOY has also announced a July South American headlining tour that will launch on July 17 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In the time since the release of the band’s full length debut, JOB FOR A COWBOY has progressed from “the band with the different name” to one of the leading lights for heavy music in the 21st century. The quintet’s latest release, Ruination skyrocketed to #42 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart in its first week of release and has met to scads of critical acclaim for its astounding dexterity, scorching attack, sleek arrangement and thundering musical muscle.

JOB FOR A COWBOY features front man Jonny Davy, guitarists Bobby Thompson and Al Glassman, bassist Brent Riggs and drummer Jon “The Charn” Rice.
