UK thrashers EVILE recorded “Cemetery Gates” in 2009 for a special Metal Hammer Dimebag tribute album. Tragically, it was also the last song the band recorded with their late bassist, MIKE ALEXANDER.
“Cemetery Gates” is available now exclusively on iTunes, and also features a special version of EVILE’s track “Time No More”, with Japanese vocals/lyrics.
Get “Cemetery Gates” on iTunes UK now at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/cemetery-gates-single/id356887797 and on iTunes US at: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/cemetery-gates-single/id356887797
EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:
“Finally, people who don’t have the amazing Dimebag tribute issue, put out by Metal Hammer, can now download our cover of ‘Cemetery Gates’ on iTunes. Not only that, but you can also get the Japanese version of ‘Time No More’, only recently available on the Japanese release of Infected Nations. It was such an honour to be a part of the Dimebag tribute, and doing this track really meant a lot to Mike. I recently had the pleasure of speaking to Rex [Brown, PANTERA bassist] about a few things, from the Gates cover which he enjoyed, to coping with a loss. I love the metal community!”
