Late in 2007, HELLYEAH (feat. Ex-PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul) went on to announce to the public that former DAMAGEPLAN bassist Bob “Zilla” Kakaha would officially be the replacement for an ousted Jerry Montano. HELLYEAH then went back into the studio in May of 2009 to begin work on their follow-up album to their smash self-titled debut. The act has nearly completed writing at this point. Vinnie Paul describes the tracks as “very heavy.” The record is tentatively titled “Devil’s Wing” and is slated to be unleashed in the spring of 2010 via Epic Records. Here’s a new tweet from the band:
“Hellions!! Look for video updates coming this week.”
HELLYEAH’s first release landed at No. 9 on the Billboard album chart and sold over 45,000 units in its first week.
