Polish blackened death metal band BEHEMOTH have released a cover of “The Return Of Darkness And Evil” by pioneering black metal outfit Bathory. Originally released in 1985, that song also served as the title track to the Bathory‘s 1985 sophomore album.
Behemoth‘s newly issued rendition of the song is set to serve as the theme for this year’s edition of the annual ‘Mystic Festival‘, which will be held June 03rd-06th in Gdansk, Poland. Behemoth, Megadeth and Black Label Society will be headlining that event, which is billed as Poland’s largest metal festival.
