Despite direct opposition from the family and estates of STATIC-X vocalist/guitarist Wayne Static and his wife Tera Wray, Matt Zane is forging ahead with production of his documentary on the last seven years of the lives of the late couple. Zane, known for fronting Society 1 as well as his time in the adult film industry and more, announced the project this fall.
He noted that he had begun filming for it before the couple’s respective deaths, though full-fledged plans for it never transpired due to the November 01st, 2014 death of Wayne from a fatal mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol. Wray would later take her own life in January of 2016.
