Back in 2010, the late Ozzy Osbourne’s wife/manager Sharon responded to MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil’s comments he made about her in his autobiography, “Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell and Back with One of Rock’s Most Notorious Frontmen”, in which Neil slammed Sharon over the way she allegedly acted towards the CRÜE during the band’s 1984 tour as the support act for Ozzy.
So there you have it, the war of words between Vince Neil and Sharon Osbourne stems further back than the Crue ditching Ozzy’s farewell show this month, a situation that obviously does not sit well with the late singer’s fans either, because it is a major sign of disrespect on Neil and the Crue’s part. Now that the Prince of Darkness has suddenly passed away only week’s after his final concert, the drama has escalated. Fans will recall that on December 8, 1984 Vince Neil killed drummer Razzle of Hanoi Rocks in a drunk driving crash.

VINCE NEIL Is ‘Probably Very Jealous Of OZZY’
Former Ozzy bassist Phil Soussan went on the record to state that when things ended between he and Ozzy that song Soussan had written for Ozzy were then given to Vince Neil for his solo album.

In a new interview, Soussan mentioned that there were some “personalities in the band” that caused things to “kind of fall apart.” He did not delve deeply into specifics, but it is clear that interpersonal relationships played a significant role in the band’s dynamic. One pivotal moment was the unexpected passing of Bruce Bird, the band’s manager, whom Soussan described as “wonderful.” Bird’s sudden death seemed to be a turning point, after which “everything sort of seemed to fall apart a little bit.”
This period of turmoil led Soussan to make a difficult decision: “I just decided to move on.” However, his departure did not mark the end of his musical contributions. Interestingly, many of the songs on Vince Neil’s album were originally written by Soussan for an Ozzy Osbourne album that never came to be. “A lot of those songs were songs that I had originally written actually for Ozzy… and when I wasn’t there anymore, I took those songs with me, and some of them ended up on Vince’s album,” Soussan explained.
This connection between the songs intended for Ozzy and those on Vince’s album creates a fascinating musical bridge. Soussan pointed out that if listeners “carefully” compare the two sets of songs, they can “sort of hear the derivatives” and understand the stylistic parallels. He remarked, “I was writing songs that were stylistically had some relationship to some of the songs that Ozzy already had as big songs.”

Neil has struggled mightily during the Crue’s comeback, sparking major concerns. TMD revealed that the singer has needed to get a medical procedure done recently to repair his booze battered vocal cords that are plagued with nodules, that reappear due to excessive drinking. Neil had largely relied on using backing tracks for his lead vocals at most of the Crue’s concerts, as confirmed by ousted guitarist Mick Mars, who also launched a lawsuit against the band.
A new July post on The Metal Den’s Facebook page amassed over 1.2 million reach worldwide, which exposed the fact that Neil’s problems stem from an ongoing alcoholism problem that Ozzy attempted to help the singer with several years ago, by admitting Neil into a rehab facility.
It turns out the root of the problem with Neil’s destroyed singing voice stems from his alcohol abuse, which Ozzy has made a gallant effort to try and help remedy.
Sources at The Metal Den are reporting that Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil has entered an alcohol rehab center in Texas.
The report says this was recommended by his long time friend Ozzy Osbourne during a private intervention. Ozzy also sent his daughter Kelly to the same facility recently.
Eex-Crue limo driver Al Bowman said in an interview that Vince is “drinking himself to death”.
We’ve all seen the videos of performances gone bad over the last years, including a show in when Vince fell off stage and broke his ribs, along with slurring on a video when wishing a fan happy birthday.
