
Norwegian symphonic black metal band DIMMU BORGIR confirmed the replacement for Galder (Thomas Rune Anderson), who exited the band last summer. The group have welcomed Damage (Kjell Karlsen of Chrome Division, etc. fame) to their ranks. In a statement shared on social media yesterday, June 27th, the group offered:
“We’re excited to proudly welcome Damage to the team, and we’re all looking forward to sharing the stage with him this summer and onwards. It’s already been a pleasure working and rehearsing with Damage over the last couple of months and we hope that you, the fans, will join us in welcoming him to the line up!”
The group performed their first show with him since the announcement yesterday, June 27th as part of the ‘Tons Of Rock‘ festival in Oslo, Norway. Further shows include:
