MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s Las Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, originally scheduled for March 28 thru April 19, 2025, is moving to September 2025 due to a required medical procedure recently advised by vocalist Vince Neil‘s doctors in concern with a “vocal ailment” according to Rolling Stone magazine.
Neil says: “To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to see us this spring, I’m truly sorry. My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can’t wait to return to the stage. Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know.”
There seems to be confusion going on as to the exact reason why Vince Neil is getting a medical procedure done. The troubled singer has experienced several stage mishaps in the past several years, including falling off the stage prior to the start of the plagued The Stadium Tour, where he broke ribs, not to mention the gig where he just quit mid song due to losing his voice, along with being injured again during a purported fight with Tommy Lee at the band’s final rehearsal before the comeback shows, where the rotund vocalist is said to have tackled his bandmate for making fun of his weight issues.

Neil’s drastically fluctuating weight has long been a concern, as fans have seen the rock singer balloon in size in between tours, as he dines out and enjoys $10,000 bottles of booze, ditching rehab and not working out to reduce the size of his belly.
A vocal expert went on the record to say that excessive boozing and binge eating can indeed destroy a singer’s voice over time.
Last year during a Crue gig, Neil actually did a ‘belly flop’ falling onto the stage, after losing his balance.
Neil’s problems with the battle of the bottle and the bulge have apparently prompted producer Bob Rock to use AI technology to recreate Vince’s lost voice (by hiring a ghost vocalist to do what is called voice cloning), and this is the reason why Neil has been forced to use backing tracks and do lip sync at concerts. The Crue also “Cancelled” their long-awaited new studio full length album last year, opting to only release a 3 song EP.
Last March, ex-Crue guitarist Mick Mars was asked about Neil’s declining singing ability and Mars responded by saying “The road takes a toll on everybody.”

Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and John 5 of MÖTLEY CRÜE shared in a joint statement: “Please join us in wishing Vince a speedy recovery. We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September. We can’t wait to see you all out there, and thank you for your understanding and support in the meantime.”
