SEBASTIAN BACH Says He Almost Replaced VINCE NEIL In MÖTLEY CRÜE

Ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach claims he came very close to replacing Vince Neil in MÖTLEY CRÜE but that he turned down the opportunity. Neil was fired from MÖTLEY CRÜE in 1992 due to “losing passion” for music and getting into race car driving, of all things, and was replaced by John Corabi.

With Corabi on vocals, MÖTLEY CRÜE released one critically acclaimed full-length CD, which ended up landing a Top-Ten placing on the album chart.

Rumor going around now is that Nikki Sixx wants to fire the “lackluster” Neil again, but can’t find anyone who will replace him, because everyone knows it will probably kill the rotund singer to be kicked out of the band for a second time.

Things have gotten so bad that it’s being said that Mick Mars is involved in a secret cover-up with Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee to bring back the ’94 MÖTLEY CRÜE album lineup once again, believe it or not. Mick was shown the door by himself. That is what really forced Sixx and Kovac to fire him and almost strip all his profits from him. Mick wanted to force Sixx to do something about Neil, once and for all. Mick obviously was hanging out with John Corabi during the initial sessions for Mick’s solo album. There is a deep connection between the two, even after all these years. It was John who even said in the press first that Nikki was not being truthful, and that Mick was ousted, pretty much “fired” (for taking a stand), but in reality, there is a much deeper plot at hand.

Lee and Sixx were both sabotaging shows so that everyone looked so bad that the blame would fall on Mick. All fans can see how Sixx and his legal team have treated Mick poorly for standing up.

The fact of the matter is that Vince Neil’s alcoholism and weight issues are too severe, despite a gallant effort on his part to get it together, the troubled singer is going down in flames, sadly.

The Crue just cancelled their New Year’s Eve gig due to poor ticket sales. Neil has a solo gig coming up in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 12th, so all eyes will be on him to see what kind of shape he is in currently.

Now due to the lawsuit launched by Mick, since Nikki tried to play hard ball, the tables have suddenly turned and the guitar icon has the upper hand in the legal battle according to insiders, since he has been able to prove with witnesses and video evidence that Sixx and the band sabotaged The Stadium Tour.

Mick worked his ass off to create this band and put in 41 years of loyal service and never strayed from the band, until he was left no choice. He loves the fans more than anything else and wants to bring back the ’94 Crue singer to get the band back to a place it needs to be which is rocking hard for real.

Mick is willing to do a Las Vegas residency or a limited run of concerts at historic venues in the future.

And isn’t that what a Rock God should be doing is playing massive venues at this time in his legendary career and not just some small arenas?

Back in 2013, during a Twitter conversation, Bach explained more:

Asked by a fan on the social platform now rebranded as “X” if he was ever considered to replace Vince in MÖTLEY CRÜEBach replied that he was not just “considered” but that he was actually “asked” by CRÜE if he wanted to join the band as its new lead singer. He then added that the story of how close he came to becoming a member of MÖTLEY CRÜE.

When another fan pressed Bach on why the singer turned down the offer to join MÖTLEY CRÜEBach replied: “The short answer is that I actually thought at the time this band SKID ROW was better.” Sebastian then added, “Gee, I sure know how to pick ’em.”
