Nikki Sixx Claims That New MÖTLEY CRÜE Music Will Be Released In 2024, But Does Anyone Really Care?

After being shown up by his 72-year-old ousted guitarist, Crue bassist Nikki Sixx shared on social media this week that the new version of the Crue will be releasing new music in 2024.

As the story goes, earlier this year, the band hit the studio with producer Bob Rock in April. Sixx stated that the band completed recording their first studio album in 15 years.

Mick Mars has already begun to drop two new singles off his highly anticipated debut solo album due to drop 2/23/2024. Word is that Sixx is feeling major pressure to get new Crue music out to prove to everyone that he’s still in control of the band, when in reality, Sixx is said to be using a ghost bassist (Bob Rock) to compose and perform the new songs – and will continue to rely on backing tracks at the Crue’s concerts, just like Tommy Lee and Vince Neil have all along, according to Mars.

Troubled vocalist Vince Neil claims to have cut his vocals via a Zoom call for the Crue’s recording sessions, believe it or not. However, the rumor is that it’s all one big inside joke because Vince’s voice is ‘gone’ and the band is employing AI technology to recreate Vince’s younger singing voice, with the help of Creed vocalist Scott Stapp. The process is called voice-cloning.

The publicity nightmare that Sixx and his cohorts have faced since firing the beloved Mars and trying to cover it up with a false narrative, has reached a level that has never been witnessed before. TMD news during the months of August, September and October this year alone reached over 30 million impressions online and most of it was about the ongoing Crue legal battle.

Sure, Sixx wants to finally release a new studio album in 2024 possibly, which is 16 years since their last one, which wasn’t all that impressive, and really did not include any of Mick’s playing on it. This is going to be a moment of truth for Sixx to show everyone that his version of the Crue is just as potent commercially as the lineup with Mars in it. Although, from the sounds of things, and the fact that Sixx is stalling until next year to release any new songs, tells us that he is not that confident at the moment.
