Bruce Dickinson – New Single Released

Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson has unleashed his new solo track, “Afterglow Of Ragnarok“. This track is being made available both digitally and as a 7” single featuring a bonus eight-page comic book tied into his forthcoming solo album, “The Mandrake Project“.

A 2024 release is expected for that new full-length outing, with more details still to come. That record will also be accompanied by a comic book series of the same name set to be published by Z2 Comics. The album and comic ‘flesh out a tale Dickinson came up with for the record’.

Dickinson said of the track and this newly released Ryan Mackfall-directed video for it:

“It was important to set the tone of the project with this track. As befitting its title, it’s a heavy song and there’s a great big riff driving it… but there’s also a real melody in the chorus that displays the light and shade that the rest of the album brings… and just wait until you see the video!”
